Who Is Eligible to Attend?

Programs and services at the Adult Day Center are suitable for adults, age 16 or older, who have a disability or need assistance or supervision during the day. Individuals who have Alzheimer's or other dementia-related illnesses, are incontinent, use wheelchairs or other mobility aids, or who need to take medication are all welcome to attend.

Services are priced on a sliding-fee scale. This means that the cost is based upon one's ability to pay. We are proud to say that no Somerset County resident has been denied admission due to inability to pay. The difference between the maximum cost billed on behalf of members and the actual cost is covered by fundraising and grants. We are determined to keep costs as low as possible with no reduction in the quality of care.

The Application Process

You may call the Adult Day Center for an application, then complete and return it. A social worker will contact you to schedule an at-home assessment, during which she will describe the next steps in the application process. At present, there is a lengthy waiting list, which is prioritized based on individual and family need. This means there may be a delay between your application submission and the scheduling of a visit by a social worker. We will do everything to accommodate your family member in as short a time as possible.
