| Support Group |
Our Caregiver Support group is held one Saturday a month and is followed by an
informal luncheon, making it a full day out for the caregiver. Out group has grown to
include those families on our waiting list, as well as other caregivers that may not
need day care but are looking for some kinship and guidance along the way.
Our group has become a family of its own; welcoming in new members and
welcoming back those who’s loved one has passed on.
The support group offers a variety of information, guest speakers, and day care
services for your loved one.
The morning begins at 9:00 with coffee/tea and a light breakfast. It’s a nice relaxing
time to catch up with each other and a great way for new members to acclimate
themselves.
At 10:00 the support group and activities for members start.
At 12:00 we all gather to have an informal lunch. There is a $10 suggested
donation per person staying for lunch.
Although our center deals primarily with residents of Somerset County , we
welcome out of county residents.
