Would You Like to Volunteer?
Volunteers are an important part of the success of the
Adult Day Center's programs. Each year, volunteers
contribute over 3,600 hours of their time.
They support the staff and the members in such ways
as assisting in daily activities, special events, office
help, companion calls, board membership, visiting
with members, and celebrating birthdays.

PROGRAM VOLUNTEER - Flexible Days and Times
Duties would include:
SPECIAL EVENT DAYS
BIRTHDAY BUDDY PROGRAM
BOARD MEMBER
Duties would include:
- Assist activity staff facilitating group activities such as physical games,
word games, Bingo, arts and crafts.
- Assist with the serving of lunch to our members, help members with
special needs, sit and chat during their meal.
- Spend one-on-one time with members talking, playing cards or board
games.
SPECIAL EVENT DAYS
- International Days
- Picnic Days
- Holiday/Seasonal parties
- Duties would include assisting staff running special programs, mix
mingle and party with members.
BIRTHDAY BUDDY PROGRAM
- Spend a Day with us for a Special Occasion
- Adopt our program for a particular month by purchasing birthday gifts for
members having birthdays that month!
- Come in for our monthly birthday party. Bring a 1/2 sheet cake, sugar
free cookies, dance and mingle with members.
- There are many different and flexible opportunities for volunteers and we
ask that you do not hesitate in contacting us to learn more.
BOARD MEMBER
- Work with Center's volunteer Board of Directors
- Should have an interest in Eldercare, particularly an interest in innovative
approaches to care
- Fundraising experience and a willingness to support a capital
campaign a plus
